Annual Tennis Tournament

This annual tennis tourney is held the last full weekend of July. Events include men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles. There is also a junior tournament for players age 18 and under. Over 260 adults and juniors participated in 2008. Play begins on Friday and continues throughout the weekend. Also on Friday players may check in, review the draw, and enjoy a casual bbq dinner. An awards ceremony is held Sunday evening. The entry fee, which includes invitations for two to the Friday evening events and a tournament t-shirt is $30 per person and $15 for the second event for adults, and $25 per person for the juniors. The entry and payment deadline is the Tuesday prior to the tournament. A $5 fee will be charged to anyone paying after the deadline.
