For many homebound people, their pet serves as a valuable companion, sometimes their only companion.  Recognizing their importance, Meals on Wheels is now providing pet food for the four legged friends of our recipients.  We offer dog food, cat food, and cat litter to those recipients who are unable to purchase these items.  By providing for pets, Meals on Wheels is able to help keep these furry companions healthy which, in turn, help keep their owners happy and healthy as well.
